TRL Cast AH-90

TRL (formerly TATA) Castable AH‑90 Overview: Known as TRL Cast AH‑90 (also previously “TATA Castable AH‑90”), this is a high-purity dense refractory castable, typically containing 86–90% Al₂O₃, with iron oxide around 1.4–1.8%. It’s designed for extreme high-temperature environments, with a service limit up to ~1750 °C.

• Al₂O₃: ~82.6% (range 80–84%)

• SiO₂: ~5.7%

• Fe₂O₃: ~2.1% (range 1.8–2.2%)

• CaO: ~4.9%

• Bulk density (after drying at 110 °C): ~2610 kg/m³

• Cold Crushing Strength (CCS):

  • At 110 °C: ~54.6 N/mm²

  • At 1400 °C: ~46.2 N/mm²

  • At 1500 °C: ~75.8 N/mm²

Usage :

• Widely used in industries like steel, cement, glass, copper, and aluminium for furnace linings and repair.
